I've always loved making things, started with art since elementary school. That led to drawings on Procreate and convincing myself I should start an Etsy store. My need to create combined with a need to understand how things actually work led me to design. Now with the AI boom and everyone suddenly being able to code, I'm obsessed with finding solutions to problems in my everyday life and building them myself. Currently at Pump.co where I do a little bit of everything: product, design, code, copy, strategy, whatever needs doing (classic startup). Originally from Texas, which means I say yall in professional settings. Living in SF, dreaming about eventually starting my own thing. I run on matcha, my favorite multiplication fact is 7×8=56, and my favorite keyboard shortcut is ⌘+shift+4.

I want to start my own company one day. Not for the title, not for the LinkedIn flex, but because I genuinely want to build something that actually matters to people. I don't have it all figured out yet and I'm not going to pretend like I do. But I think that's kind of the point. This journal is where I'm collecting everything along the way: things I've read, things I've learned, things I've gotten completely wrong, conversations that changed how I think.
